A headless CMS makes every page a network call to somebody else's API, and your marketing site is only as available as their uptime. A WordPress install alongside your app is a second stack, a second deployment and a second set of security updates.
Mounted, a page is a database row and the blog lives at /blog on the domain that already has your search authority — not on a subdomain starting from zero.
